Minuteman at Dusk
The Concord Minuteman stands on the "American side" of the Old North Bridge, facing it. The minuteman was sculpted by Daniel Chester French, and represents Isaac Davis, who led the Colonial attack at the bridge and was the first to die there. He wears no uniform and stands beside his plow, underscoring his civilian status.
