School Girl vs "Professional Journalist"

Comments

I needed to read a post like this one today, for more reasosn that I canlist. Thank you and thanks for the 'add.'
You're more than welcome. While I am pessimistic about the short term political fate of the Republic, more and more what optimism I have is based on our young people. This is one of the many reasons why.

dang, go marla! when is she planning to run for office indeed :)

Ignorance, bigotry, hypocrisy and their like will always be with us, but the light of truth, reason and justice can be shone upon them by youngsters who haven't even finished school.

I came back and reread this and once again was thankful you wrote it. Why aren't you posting lately? I hope you come out of hiatus soon. Your words are inspiring....

Thank you Patricia. I will try to write more often. I have been caught up in consulting contracts and trying to help build an as yet unannounced political activism web site. But I should be writing here more often.
Certainly hope so and would love to see the website....

I will be hopeful too, but will try to make hope real. Tomorrow's journalists need to be taught about facts, context, evidence, even-handedness, argument, logic and clarity. But they can't learn that stuff from the 'journalists' of this generation.

Good piece.
